Grade 1 True Vintage M65 USA Made Field Jacket 

Rare US army type M65 jacket. Older style, made in USA.

The M65 jacket was first produced in 1965 for the US Military and used by troops using the Vietnam War to protect them from the sub-freezing extreme weather conditions. They are incredibly insulating, with a hard wearing design that is made from a tough water resistant cotton nylon mix. Jackets fasten with a heavy duty zip and popper snaps to the front, and come with a concealable hood in the collar. Zips vary between brass and plastic depending on production date.

Male model is 5ft 10 and wears size Medium Regular. 

For reference, the back length on all size X-short is 27.5".

 

X Small - fits chest 35-37"

Small - fits chest 38"-40"

Medium - fits chest 42"-44"

Large - fits chest 44"-46"

XL - fits chest 48"-50"

Condition

The condition is very good Grade A (Grade 1) with no damage however there may be the odd imperfection or repair as you would expect from military grade wear. Some jackets will have the US badge to the chest and badges to the arm, others won't. The design of the inner badge may very in design and fade.
